Good projects start with clear expectations.
Straight answers about scope, timing, payment and what happens after launch.
What does a website cost?
Essential is $1,500, Professional is $2,500, and Premium starts at $3,500. The written proposal confirms what is included. More complex functionality, migrations and additional scope are quoted separately.
Which package do I need?
Start with your business requirements. We review the catalog, content, customer experience and workflows, then recommend the appropriate package. A straightforward website can be an excellent Essential project; advanced systems need a tailored Premium scope.
How long does a build take?
Timing is confirmed in your proposal after scope, materials, access and available production capacity are reviewed. Production requires a signed agreement, verified deposit and complete intake. Client delays and changes can move the launch date.
Do you require a call?
No. We work primarily through email, forms, written proposals, screen recordings and organized feedback. A call can be useful for a complex question, but it is not the default requirement.
What platform do you use?
WordPress and WooCommerce are the primary platforms for client ecommerce builds. We select the architecture around the project, and may use a lightweight custom front end when it better suits the requirements.
Do you work with existing websites?
Yes. We review the current setup before recommending a refinement, rebuild or migration. Existing plugins, data quality and hosting can affect the scope.
Can you migrate products and content?
Yes, when it is included in the proposal. We review the quantity, source format, variations, images and documentation before quoting. Cleanup, historical records and complex migrations are separate scope.
Do you work outside RUO?
Yes. Our initial specialty is research-use ecommerce, but the Bridgerow brand and build process also serve specialty product brands, service businesses and other ecommerce companies.
Do you build ecommerce sites?
Yes. Product architecture, mobile browsing, customer accounts, shipping rules and checkout are core capabilities. Each proposal specifies the catalog, integrations and functionality included.
Can you create COA and document libraries?
Yes. Options range from a basic public PDF directory to grouped product records and custom batch or lot lookup. Clients supply accurate documents and business information; Bridgerow does not conduct testing or authenticate laboratory results.
Do you integrate payment processors?
Credit-card processor setup is not included in our website packages. Agreed P2P instructions and supported crypto workflows can be scoped. Paying Bridgerow for website services is separate from a client’s store payment system; provider approval and retention are never guaranteed.
Do you guarantee processor approval or retention?
No. Approval, underwriting, permitted business types and continued account access are decisions made by the provider. We do not source merchant accounts or provide payment compliance services.
Do you guarantee SEO rankings or revenue?
No. We build technical SEO foundations and clear customer journeys. Search rankings and business results depend on factors beyond the website and are not guaranteed.
What happens after launch?
You receive a walkthrough and access to your website. Included launch support covers 30 days of asynchronous help and up to one hour of minor changes across that period. Reported build errors are handled separately under the agreement. Ongoing maintenance is optional.
Do I own the website?
After final payment, you retain the site and access to your business accounts. Third-party licenses, pre-existing tools and licensed components remain subject to their own terms. Maintenance is not required to keep ownership.
What does maintenance include?
Essential Care is $99/month for routine updates, a backup check, a basic functionality check and issue flagging. Managed Care is $149/month with up to one hour of minor changes; Priority Care is $249/month with up to two hours total and priority scheduling. Unused time does not roll over.
How many revisions are included?
Standard builds include two consolidated revision rounds within the approved direction and scope. Normal copy, image and style refinements in those rounds are included; clarifying an agreed deliverable does not create an added fee. New requirements are reviewed separately, with your written approval before any additional work or charges.
When is payment due?
A 50% deposit reserves production before work begins. The remaining balance is due before final launch and handoff unless the written agreement specifies different milestones. Third-party costs and maintenance are separate unless explicitly included.
What happens if I delay the project?
We need your materials, access and consolidated feedback to keep the schedule moving. A project inactive for 30 consecutive days because of client delays may be terminated under the agreement. Payment and refund terms are defined in that agreement.
Is every project built from scratch?
We use proven technical foundations and consistent systems for navigation, forms, ecommerce and QA. Your branding, content, catalog structure and business-specific workflows shape the finished website. Custom development is focused where your requirements need it.
What if I need something outside the agreed scope?
We explain the request, cost and any effect on the timeline in a written change order or a separate project phase. You approve it before we start added work or charge for it. New pages, features, integrations, major design changes or increased quantities may change scope; normal refinements within the agreed revision rounds remain included.
